On the Road to Stormwater Management V.

[01-09-2012] In the Czech Republic, the statutory requirements for rain water are currently created only partially and there is a lack of technical oversight. Seemingly there is no reason why not to apply the principles of HDV at least generally within the specified range and quality. Unfortunately it is not the case. Inertia of habits and misunderstandings of the nature of HDV by all parties invested in the project, including the creators of the concept, urban drainage areas are often the source of bad to dangerous solutions, with the consequences for the new owners of the property and also for whole society, and it will be a long and expensive deal. Remaining in this situation is unnecessary and stupid. The author wants to help to change this situation by analysis of the most serious problems.
